Spend a few hours with Kay and walk out wearing a fun sterling silver spinner ring.  Learn how to fabricate and solder a silver ring band as well as the two textured silver spinner rings.  Sterling silver sheet and wire will be textured using a variety of texture hammers and oxidized.   A tube miter vise will be used to create the square ends of the silver sheet necessary for soldering.  Learn how to stretch the ring band to the appropriate shape and size to keep the two spinner rings in place.   A micro butane torch will be used for soldering.  Professional finishing will be emphasized using flex shafts and accessory tips.  Class fee includes sterling silver sheet, sterling round wire and silver solder.  Instructor provides all tools required for the project.   Most students should finish the project in the class period. Students with close up vision correction should bring magnifiers.
